Azerbaijani delegation that will travel to Havana visits Cuban embassy

Havana, Apr 28 (RHC) - Sabina Hajiyeva, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the First Cultural Heritage Congress to be held in Havana, visited the Cuban diplomatic headquarters in Baku today.

According to Cuban ambassador Carlos Valdés, Hajiyeva, Head of the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture, was informed of the program that will be completed in Cuba.

Valdés specified that they exchanged information on the protection and restoration of cultural heritage in both countries and the prospects for development in the field of cooperation in this sphere.

Hajiyeva informed the Caribbean diplomat that the delegation of the South Caucasus nation is also made up of Ruslan Rzayev, Azerbaijani ambassador to Cuba; Araz Baghiri, head of international cooperation of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture; and Ramin Aliyev, official of the Foreign Ministry.

The Cuban ambassador stated that the meeting took place in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, a sign of the high level of relations between Cuba and Azerbaijan. (Source: Prensa Latina)
