Juan Padrón in memoriam animation forum announced in Cuba

Havana, Jul 22 (RHC) The 44th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema, to be held in Havana from December 8 to 17, 2023, convenes the Juan Padrón Latin American and Caribbean Animation Forum in memoriam.

According to information published on habanafilmfestival.com, the forum will be held from December 9 to 11 at the Animation Studios of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry. The detailed calendar of the event will be disclosed in future spaces.

The appointment will advise projects in development and will include talks, conferences, short film screenings and other activities on this specialty.

The objectives of the event are to generate spaces for reflection and learning, as well as to foster cooperation ties between the different studios and specialists of the audiovisual industry in our region.

The Forum's main organizers and advisers are Paola Becco from Argentina, César Cabral from Brazil and Ernesto Padrón from Cuba, as well as other renowned animation film specialists.
