DPRK condemns terror attack on Cuban embassy in Washington

Pyongyang, Oct 1 (RHC) The Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Sunday issued a statement strongly condemning Sept. 24´s Molotov cocktail attack on the Cuban embassy in the United States.

We strongly condemn and consider such an incident as a flagrant violation of international law and an open attack on Cuba’s sovereignty.

The Molotov cocktail case that threatened the lives of Cuban diplomats, before the truth of the indiscriminate shooting at the Cuban embassy in the United States three years ago, was cleared up, proves that these incidents were evidently orchestrated under protection of the U.S. administration, the North Korean foreign ministry said in its statement.

Through this incident we can see the sinister intention of the anti-Cuban forces in the United States to tarnish in one way or another the external image of socialist Cuba.

The arrogant and dirty anti-Cuban campaign is met with strong protests and condemnations from the international society aspiring to respect for the sovereignty of the sovereign and independent State and for justice.

We have been totally and invariably supporting the just cause of the Cuban party, government and people for the defense of sovereignty and socialism, and we will always be in the same trench with the Cuban people to struggle against all forms of terrorism. (Source: Prensa Latina)
