Havana, October 23 (RHC)-- On Monday, several activities were held in Havana, Cuba, in support of the people of Palestine and against the Israeli occupation in Gaza. 

Among the venues was the Cuba Pavilion, located in Havana's Vedado La Rampa.  The event was attended by members of the UJC and the PCC, young people from different nations studying in Cuban universities, and people of all ages and spheres of society.

Among the guest artists was the singer Annie Garcés.  The Palestinian student Mustafa Almasrhi, thanked the solidarity with his people expressed in each convocation and regretted the death of his fellow countrymen in the Israeli bombings. 

An act of denunciation was also carried out by the workers of the Union of Caribbean Construction Companies (Uneca.SA), while the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) organized in Pinar del Río another activity with this objective.
