Prime Minister of Nepal and President of Cuba meet in the United Arab Emirates in the context of the COP28 Climate Change Conference
Havana, Dec 1 (RHC) The Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, highlighted this Friday his meeting with Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel regarding the 28th United Nations Conference on Climate Change.
In a publication on X, the Nepalese official reported the meeting as a parallel activity to the Climate Change Summit in the United Arab Emirates, in which both participate. According to Dahal, the two discussed relations between the two countries.
Díaz-Canel arrived on an official visit to the UAE last Tuesday and to attend the COP28 Climate Change Conference as part of the tour that will also take him to Qatar and Iran.
During his presentation this Friday on the first day of the high-level segment, the president of Cuba, the country that presides over the Group of 77, advocated for world peace to save the planet, while rejecting Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people.
Meanwhile, the Nepalese prime minister arrived in the UAE the day before and is scheduled to speak on Saturday, with a statement on the effects of climate change in the mountains of the Asian nation. (Source: PL)
