Havana, Jul 15 (RHC) With more than 80 percent execution of sentences issued during the first half of the year, Cuba has a high level of judicial resolution although it is still not enough, said Monday in Havana the president of the People's Supreme Court, Ruben Remigio Ferro at the meeting of the Permanent Work Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power.

Remigio Ferro exemplified that in civil, family, and administrative matters, of the 16,815 judicial resolutions registered in the period, 13,950 were executed, with special observance of the deadlines established by the Law.

The highest representative of the judicial body pointed out that in view of the lack of completion of the staff, the provincial authorities have been urged to be linked to the processes of imparting justice at the grassroots level.

José Luis Toledo Santander, president of the commission, insisted on the need to prioritize the administrative processes due to the conflicts and inconveniences generated among the population when the response is delayed.

He urged those present to approach the People's Court System in the territories where the greatest complexities are identified to address the issue of delays and exhaust all means to solve them.

One of the essential elements in the legality of any country is the fulfillment of judicial sentences, and, in Cuba, due to its characteristics of popular character in the administration of justice, this must always be the greatest aspiration, he added.

Today and tomorrow the work of the Permanent Working Commissions of the ANPP takes place as a prelude to the Third Ordinary Session of the X Legislature of the highest governing body of the country. (Source: ACN).
