Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister to pay Official Visit to Australia
Havana, August 21 (RHC) Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodriguez will pay an official visit to the Commonwealth of Australia from August 22 to 23, the Foreign Ministry announced Wednesday.
Rodriguez will complete an agenda that includes meetings with high-level officials from both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Parliament of that country, as well as meetings with members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society.
The visit will take place in the context of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
According to the source, it will be an excellent opportunity to exchange views on issues of common interest and reaffirm the will to strengthen bilateral relations.
