Havana, September 26 (RHC) -- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel received the President of Vietnam, To Lam, on Thursday morning.

"Here we received him, the old and new friends he has in Cuba," Diaz-Canel said on his account on X.   The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba greeted To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

"The world has had many changes, but the friendship and solidarity of Vietnam and Cuba will never change," said comrade To Lam to President Díaz-Canel during the brief dialogue that both held at the beginning of the work day.

The Presidency, on its official account, detailed that the meeting between the two leaders took place shortly before beginning a tour of the Mariel Special Development Zone, which is part of the activities included in the agenda of the official visit of the Vietnamese President to Cuba.   (Source: X Presidency)
