Havana, Dec 6 (RHC) The President of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, Esteban Lazo Hernández, congratulated Cuban deputy Rolando González Patricio on his election as President of the Board of Directors of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino).
In a message on the National Assembly’s X account, Lazo emphasized that the election of González Patricio, who is also the head of the International Relations Committee of the Cuban Parliament, is a recognition of the work done in strengthening Cuban parliamentary diplomacy and his historical contribution to this organization.
The Cuban Parliament highlighted on its website that González Patricio was elected President of the Parlatino Board of Directors for the period TWENTY TWENTY-FOUR to TWENTY TWENTY-SIX by acclamation at the thirty-eighth Ordinary Assembly, which is commemorating the sixtieth anniversary of the organization and is being held in Panama.
