Havana, February 22 (RHC)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, attended this Saturday the closing of the First Political-Ideological Work Workshop of Cuban Universities, which is taking place at the "Ñico López" Party University.

The Cuban president was accompanied by Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC; Susely Morfa González, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCC and head of the Department of Attention to the Social Sector, and Eduardo Martínez Díaz, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic.

Also participating were other members of the Political Bureau of the Provincial Parties, ministers and representatives of other organizations such as the University Student Federation, the Union of Young Communists, and PCC directors, as well as rectors of Cuban higher education institutions.

At the closing of this workshop, an exchange was held focused on the creation of work strategies that will be carried out in light of the current situation in the country and the media war that the Revolution is facing.
