Havana, December 1 (RHC) -— Representatives from the world scientific community are gathering in Havana for a Biotechnology Congress that aims at presenting and debating the most recent achievements in the area of agricultural biotechnology.
The forum opens today as called by Havana's Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Center with the participation of experts from Cuba, Belgium, the United States, the U.K., Holland and representatives of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The Congress will run until Thursday, December 4th, at Havana's Occidental Hotel and includes a commercial fair with materials, reagents, equipment and products in the biotechnological field.
