Havana, November 2 (RHC)-- The 33rd Havana's International Trade Fair 'FIHAV 2015', began Monday, aimed at promoting Cuba's exports and the opportunities offered by the country's new investment law. It runs through Saturday, November 7th.
The very first activities of Cuba's premier multi-sectoral trade event include the presentation of the portfolio of products and services of Cuba's Bio-pharmaceutical Laboratories Business Group LABIOFAM and the 8th Meeting of the Cuba-Russia Business Committee.
The rich program of side events complementing the official agenda of FIHAV also includes bilateral business sessions between delegations from Cuba and countries like Ecuador, Venezuela and Brazil, among others.
Organizing Committee President, Cuba's Foreign Investment and Trade Minister Rodrigo Malmierca, highlighted that this year's event has the participation of companies and business executives from more than 70 countries, ten more than during last year's event.
Notable attendees at this year's FIHAV include Spanish Ministers of the Economy Luis de Guindos, and Industry, José Manuel Soria, and some 30 US business executives.
