Havana, November 10 (RHC)-- Members of the World Federation of Democratic Youth, 5882, stressed the resistance of the Cuban people and the role of the new generations of Cubans in the defense of the Socialist Revolution, during a session of the International Commission of the Cuban Communist League, held on Monday.

The president of the General Union of Palestinian Students in Cuba, Mohamed Abu Srour, said that Cuba is an example to follow in the fight of the peoples for their own sovereignty. Abu Srour appreciated the permanent support of the Cuban government and people of the rights of the Palestinian people to have their own independent state in peace.

Foreign participants at the meeting were briefed on the results of the 10th Congress of the Cuban Young Communist League, held last July in Havana.

The forum of the World Federation of Democratic Youth, which runs until Thursday, is gathering over 130 representatives of 62 organizations from around the world.
