Cuban Golden Club
Havana, May 27 (RHC)-- El Club de los Soneros Dorados or The Cuban Golden Club will soon release a new album –their third musical production entitled ‘Los maestros del sabor’. It will feature several foreign guests, among them the living legend of salsa music Bobby Cruz.
The album will include 21 tracks divided into three volumes, plus seven bonus tracks.
Born in 2017, in Santiago de Cuba, at the initiative of composer and musical producer Carlos Sanabia, The Cuban Golden Club groups mainly musicians from that eastern territory, singers, instrumentalists alike --all great exponents of son and other traditional Cuban genres.
They perform traditional Cuban music, mainly salsa and timba, in new, more contemporary styles targeting the younger generations.
Members of The Cuban Golden Club include such renowned musicians as pianist David Alfaro, tres player Pancho Amat, Orlando Vaya "Maraca", violinist Dagoberto González, drummer Changuito, singers Haila María Mompie, Mayito Rivera, Pedrito Calvo, Tiburón Morales, among others.
The group’s first single “Pregones Dorados”, released in 2018, was an instant hit on the island and abroad. It was accompanied by a music video.
Other hits include “Rivera azul”, “La boda del son” and “La rumba y la Luna”.
