Rapper Telmary presents 'Maradentro'

Havana, May 30 (RHC)-- The latest musical production by Cuban rapper Telmary, entitled Maradentro, was released over the weekend on all digital platforms.

Released under Colibri label, the album includes songs of resistance, of love for nature in difficult times. It comes right after Fuerza Arará, Telmary’s debut album as a soloist with which she garnered several awards, notably Cuba’s Cubadisco Award for Best Urban Music Album, several Latin Grammy nominations and the Juno Awards in Canada in the category of World Music.

Telmary told Cuban News Agency that the repercussion of Fuerza Arará, which includes hits like ‘Cógela como arde,’ ‘Cómo se pone La Habana’ and ‘Soy el verso,’ among others, forced her to work far harder to prepare this new album.

Featured guests include singer Omara Portuondo, Ana Torroja -former singer with the Spanish pop band Mecano-, Alexander Abreu, Brazilian Munir Hossn, Osain del Monte, Kumar Sublevao-Beat, Negro WadPro, Omi y Wesli, group Frasis, Luis Barbería, former member of Yerba Buena, Pedrito Martínez and HabanaSana.

Telmary said that she is very happy with the tunes included in the album, as well as the guest artists collaborating in it. ‘I’m convinced that followers of those artists expressed will tisten to this album too.’
