Havana, June 13 (RHC)-- Cuban writer Alexis Díaz-Pimienta resorted to social media to deny having signed a statement against the Cuban government, circulated recently in the framework of the Book Fair in Madrid, Spain.
A renowned poet and improviser, Díaz-Pimienta explained that he just learned that his name was wrongfully included on the list of intellectuals, who presumably signed the statement, which attacks also the governments of Venezuela, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
«I state here that I haven’t signed anything. I have not even seen the document, » Diaz-Pimienta wrote on Facebook.
