Havana, February 13 (RHC) - Cuba's Jesus Herrera continues to shine in the best volleyball in the world. In the most recent day of the Superliga he scored 8 aces and became the leader in that section and the mainstay of Perugia in its 3-2 win over Trentino.

Without playing as a starter in most of the matches, the left-handed opposite of the Cuban national team now has 20 aces in only 27 sets.

Images of the Cuban, also selected MVP in the Perugia match, leaving with 25 points, 8 aces and 3 blocks, appear in all Italian newspapers and commentators surrender at his feet.

"Herrera the best in the field, Poderosísimo Herrera and Herrera MVP", are some of the headlines with which the press highlights the performance of the 28-year-old Cuban, 1.94 meters tall.

After these results, Perugia remains unbeaten after 19 dates with 19-0 (56 points), well behind Modena 12-7, Trentino 11-8 and reigning champions Lube Civitanova 10-8, after their Sunday match against Siena was postponed.
