Havana, March 6 (JIT) - Varadero will be one of the venues of the North, Central American and Caribbean Beach Volleyball Circuit 2023, from May 10 to 14.

The regional confederation announces ten stops, including the renowned tourist city, one of the attractive venues that has been organizing it since 2011. It was only cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Having the event at home gives Cuba the opportunity to present up to three couples in each sex and for the people to enjoy the event in situ, as well as through local television broadcasts.

This year's lid is part of the qualifying process for the multi-sport games of San Salvador 2023 and Santiago 2023, as well as for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The circuit will kick off this year from April 20 to 24 in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and will be followed by the Cayman Islands from April 27 to May 1.

After the tournament in Varadero, the calendar will continue in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, with the pre-World Cup round from May 29 to June 1.

In that same tourist emporium, the under 23-year-olds will meet from June 1 to 5 and the elite from June 8 to 12, in Macao Beach.

The seventh round will take place in Pigeon Point, Tobago, from July 21 to 23, and the next one from September 1 to 3 in Maracas Bay, Trinidad.

The last two stops are scheduled in Dominican sands from September 28 to October 2 (Puerto Plata) and from October 5 to 9 (Juan Dolio beach).
