Sao Paulo, December 2 (RHC)-- Brazilian leaders Dilma Rousseff and Luis Inacio Lula da Silva will participate in the funeral homage to Fidel Castro on Saturday and Sunday in Santiago de Cuba.
Rousseff recalled that the Cuban leader one of the most important figures of contemporary politics and "a visionary who believed that a fraternal and just society, free from hunger and exploitation, and a strong and united Latin America are possible."
Fidel was "the greatest of them all in Latin America,” said former President Lula da Silva, noting that the Cuban revolutionary leader was “always a voice of struggle and hope for people in the continent, for workers in the poor countries, especially for the men and women of my generation."
