Brasilia, October 9 (RHC)-- In Brazil, Sunday's voting results have ensured a second round in the presidential elections, with former candidates beginning to join the Left and progressive forces around Fernando Haddad of the Worker's Party, the PT.

Candidates who did not receive enough votes to continue their campaigns have shown their extreme rejection of far-Right candidate Jair Bolsonaro, and their support for candidate Fernando Haddad.

The candidate from the Democratic Labor Party (PDT), Ciro Gomes, who came in third place in the elections with 12.5 percent of the votes, has already affirmed his rejection of Bolsonaro by saying: "doubtless Not Him."  #NotHim has been the slogan to reject Jair Bolsonaro's authoritarian, sexist, racist, homophobic and fascist comments and behavior.

"One thing I can tell you now, as you have already seen: my life story is a story that defends democracy and is firmly against fascism," he said in a statement to the media.

Guilherme Boulos from the Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL) on a Tweet expressed his support for Fernando Haddad and rejected categorically Jair Bolsonaro.  "Now we will go to the streets to defeat fascism and to elect the person who represents democracy in the second round: Fernando Haddad.  #NotHim," wrote Boulos on his Twitter account.
