Havana, March 12 (RHC) Venezuela’s vice president for Communication and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, said Tuesday that the electricity service in the country has been restored almost in its entirety, and that within the next few hours, water supply will be resumed in Caracas, after the electric sabotage last Thursday 7th.
Speaking at a press conference, the minister said that "those who perpetrated the attack, knew that they were harming the drinking water, the health services (...) but today, the victory is being consolidated and the electric service is almost completely restored at this tinme at the national level. "
Rodríguez also denounced the various attacks that occurred in recent days, mentioning the attacks after the partial restitution of energy, delaying further the restoration of service.
The official congratulated the people for their civic behavior, and urged them to be alert in the coming hours, because "sabotage by the sectors of the Venezuelan right will continue," he said.
