Caracas, May 25 (RHC)-- The Iranian ship Forest, the second loaded with fuel for Venezuela, entered the country's territorial waters on Monday morning.
The tanker is heading for the port of the El Palito refinery, located in the municipality of Puerto Cabello, on the coast of the state of Carabobo. It has been confirmed that the Venezuelan Oceanic Patrol Yekuana has already met the tanker in international waters and is beginning its mission to escort them.
TeleSUR correspondent Madelein García reported that both vessels are near the Margarita Islands and are continuing their course to El Palito.
This is the second Iranian tanker to arrive in Venezuelan waters with the purpose of receiving gasoline. This will strengthen diplomatic relations and trade agreements between the two countries.
