Ramallah, May 7 (RHC)-- A Palestinian prisoner advocacy group has called upon international human rights organizations to expose crimes being perpetrated by the Israeli regime against Palestinian prisoners and detainees.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club Society said in a recent report that Israeli forces arrested 100 Palestinians only in the occupied West Bank city of al-Khalil (Hebron) last month. It further stated that 35 of the detainees are to be held for a long time, urging human rights organizations worldwide to expose the crimes Tel Aviv have been committing against Palestinians.

Meanwhile, more than 100 Palestinian prisoners have staged the thirteenth consecutive day of their hunger strike in protest against their administrative detention in the Israeli prisons. According to the Palestinian Prisoners' Club Society, 120 Palestinian inmates began the open-ended hunger strike on April 24th, demanding an end to their illegal detention.

Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails have been subject to human rights violations such as the use of torture during interrogation by prison authorities. Human rights groups often criticize the Israeli prison authorities for rampant rights abuses in jails and also mysterious deaths of inmates in custody.
