Caracas, June 18 (RHC)-- Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez has presented new evidence about the corruption network around the opposition congressman Juan Guaidó.  In this regard, she referred to the special prosecutor appointed by Guaidó, José Ignacio Hernández, and how he has worked in the management of assets stolen from Venezuela, such as the oil company Citgo.

Delcy Rodríguez reviewed all the actions taken by Guaidó and his team to the detriment of the Bolivarian Government.  To do so, she said, they used illegitimate legal processes, actions supported by international organizations and under the protection of the U.S. government.

The Venezuelan vice president released an audio recording showing Hernández's relationship with the president of the World Bank to act in complicity over Venezuela's assets abroad.  She added that "an investigation should be opened against the director of the World Bank."

She also said the official's intention was to support Guaidó in staying with Citgo.  Another piece of evidence provided by the Venezuelan vice president was an audio recording in which some deputies of the National Assembly, in contempt of court, questioning the special prosecutor about his work and the steps he is taking.
