Amid soaring profits, Moderna and Pfizer to raise COVID-19 vaccine prices
New York, August 5 (RHC)-- The producers of some of the world’s most effective COVID-19 vaccines continue to raise prices on the life-saving inoculations, with Pfizer and Moderna set to charge the European Union more than $23 and $25 per dose, respectively.
A recent study by the People’s Vaccine Alliance found Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are charging governments as much as $41 billion above the estimated cost of production.
