Caracas, January 28 (RHC)-- The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted on Thursday that with great effort, it was possible to build political stability and social peace in the country -- two fundamental conditions to consolidate an integral recovery.

During a ceremony for the beginning of the judicial activities of 2022, the Venezuelan president recalled that "hard blows were dealt to the institutionality and the collective psyche with threats, fake news campaigns and invasion attempts.  These campaigns were aimed at morale in order to destroy the will and political capacity of the State."

However, he asserted, "Venezuela now has the most powerful Judicial Power there has ever been in the Republican history of the country.  A Judicial Power all along the line, well constituted and structured."

Nicolas Maduro affirmed that it would be an act of justice to compensate the damages caused by the U.S. blockade against the Venezuelan people, in view of the permanent attempt to divide the country and cause panic in the institutions of the State.

"The Colombian narco-coligarchy and the United States continue to place their bets on a parallel Judicial Power," he emphasized.  The Venezuelan president denounced that they have tried to usurp the functions of the powers in exercise and constitutional powers of the country.  "Even the imperial powers have had to recognize the legitimacy, quality and transparency of our Electoral Power," he noted.

"Today, Venezuela has a historical legitimacy conquered with much truth and much effort", said the Executive, and indicated that after failing by means of parallel powers and blockades, now they seek to try a juridical colonialism.

"The U.S. empire, the oligarchies and the international right-wing intend to try the so-called juridical colonialism over Venezuela (...)  We will denounce, confront and defeat with our morals and the sovereign justice of Venezuela," he said.
