Russian defense reports that Ukraine kills its own soldiers

Havana, April 7 (RHC) The Ukrainian military command eliminates its own troops with artillery fire so that they remain in their positions, or avoid surrendering as prisoners, as reported by the Russian Defense Ministry today.

As explained by the Russian military entity, on Wednesday, units of the Southern Group of Forces near the village of Avdeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic carried out active operations to capture the stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The commander of a unit of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine appealed to the Russian command, announcing the voluntary surrender of 14 people.

For the safe withdrawal of the Ukrainian army from its positions, hostilities were suspended, the firing completely ceased, and the Ukrainian fighters were placed in a dugout until morning, in order to then take them to the rear of the Russian group.

At night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out shelling of the shelter, firing around 300 large-caliber shells. All 14 Ukrainian servicemen who laid down their arms were killed, the ministry concluded.

In early February, the head of the Lugansk people's militia, Andrei Marochko, reported that soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to desert from positions near Makiivka, but were stopped by fire from the Ukrainian military detachment, and three servicemen were killed. (Source: Prensa Latina)
