China will receive diplomatic chiefs from the European Union and Germany
Havana, April 12 (RHC) - China announced today the visits of the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, as a continuation of the tours carried out by leaders from that area.
According to an official statement, both leaders will be in Beijing from tomorrow until Saturday and will talk with Foreign Minister Qin Gang about issues on the bilateral and international agenda.
Qin will lead the twelfth round of China-European Union high-level talks with Borell, and co-chair the sixth strategic meeting on diplomacy and security between Beijing and Berlin with Baerbock.
These trips follow those made to the Chinese city in recent weeks by other dignitaries from the so-called Old Continent. The Russia-Ukraine conflict is also expected to be one of the main topics of debate.
The last to be in China were the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who met with Xi Jinping and other government figures. (Source: Prensa Latina)
