Bolivian cabinet denounces destabilizing attempts
Havana, April 23 (RHC) - The conviction that the international and internal right intend to shorten the term of Bolivian President Luis Arce prevails today in public opinion after the complaint made by the third expanded Cabinet.
The Cabinet warns that "the national and international right does not cease with its attempts to destabilize our government and our democracy; it has gone on to an offensive that has our economy as the center of attack”.
It also states that "it seeks to generate uncertainty and anxiety in the population, to install the idea of economic crisis and thus pave the way for a political crisis that even seeks to shorten the term of President Luis Arce."
The meeting headed by the president and vice president, David Choquehuanca, analyzed the internal and international reality, the progress and challenges of the Government in its management.
The text expresses that economic stability is a patrimony of the Bolivian people, and the reconstruction of this sphere is a government priority, so Bolivians must have the absolute certainty that their Government takes care of the economy and works for their sustained growth with social justice.
The document reaffirms that the Arce Cabinet is the "Government of industrialization with import substitution, and we are going to accelerate the process, which will mean taking that great qualitative leap, expanding and diversifying our economic base."
It maintains, at the same time, that it is a priority to advance in security with food sovereignty, to consolidate comprehensive development, growth with social justice, and balance between the countryside and the city, as well as between regions of the Plurinational State.
The participants in this forum maintain that they work based on an agenda built together with the people, based on "our government program and the Summits for Economic and Productive Reconstruction that we carry out with the Bolivian Workers Union and the social organizations that make up the Pact of Unity”.
The letter establishes the “unwavering commitment to continue strengthening transparency in our government, and we are going to work on new mechanisms aimed at continuing with a frontal and effective fight against corruption. For this, in addition to the regulatory areas, it is necessary to train public servants in the new ethics of public service".
Finally, the minutes announce "a Grand Meeting of the Expanded Unity Pact with the Expanded Cabinet of the Executive Branch, with the aim of consolidating political and social unity, for the benefit of management at the service of the people." (Source: Prensa Latina)
