Panama seizes 26.2 tons of drugs
Panama, Jun 22 (RHC) Panama's National Aeronaval Service (SENAN) has seized 26.2 tons of drugs this year.
A press release stated that fifty-six operations were carried out in different coastal areas and territorial waters of Panama.
A total of 17 tons of cocaine, 8.3 tons of marijuana, and 68 packages of cocaine paste, a drug similar to crack, have been seized, SENAN reported. To date, 97 people in connection with drug trafficking have been detained in Panama. (Source: Prensa Latina)
