Ramallah, December 4 (RHC)-- According to the Palestinian news agency, Wafa, at least 30 armoured vehicles were deployed in Jenin, following the dawn raid that targeted the city and its refugee camp in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Separate raids were also carried out in Burqin, Wasila, al-Dhahr, al-Fandoumiya, Jaba, Ajja, Anza, and Araba within the Jenin Governorate.

Witnesses from Jenin also told Wafa that a reconnaissance plane was flying over the area during the operation, while Israeli snipers were positioned on the roofs of some homes and buildings.

A video clip posted on X by Al Jazeera Arabic also showed plumes of smoke rising over the Jenin refugee camp, after Israeli forces were reportedly targeted with explosive devices during the raid.
