Beirut, June 19 (RHC)-- The Lebanese Islamic resistance movement Hezbollah has attacked Israeli military positions north of the occupied Palestinian territories in the evening of this Tuesday and early hours of Wednesday, in response to bombings by the Zionist entity against towns in southern Lebanon.
In a series of statements, the Shiite militia pointed out that it used Falaq missiles to attack the Balasan factory to armor military vehicles, located in the colonial settlement Sasa (Western sector). In addition, it hit the headquarters of the Sehl battalion, in the Beit Hillel military barracks, with Katyusha rockets, and attacked soldiers of the 411 battalion in Neve Ziv with assault drones.
On Wednesday, Hezbollah reported it had launched 15 missiles against the Israeli city of Kiryat. The statement notes that these military actions were launched in retaliation for the attacks by Israeli warplanes against Al-Barghalia, north of the Lebanese city of Tyre, where one civilian was killed and eight others were injured.
In this last sector, called East by the Lebanese resistance, the group reached a Merkava tank inside the Hadab Yarin site with an assault drone. Likewise, it attacked the hills of Kfar Shuba and the farms of Shebaa, illegally occupied in Lebanon, with missiles.
Also on Tuesday, Hezbollah released images taken by drone of Tel Aviv economic targets in the port of Haifa and other points in occupied Palestine. The revelation surprised the Israeli military and security personnel. The video was eventually censored.
In the opinion of Israeli security analyst Yossi Melman, the Shiite militia has an intelligence database regarding almost all cities, small or large, of the Israeli regime. He added that these are within reach of their weapons.
Hezbollah has launched these attacks against Israeli targets since October 8th, in solidarity with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
Last week, an American media reported that these actions have caused nearly 200,000 Jewish settlers - more than three times the number recognized by Tel Aviv - to flee the northern settlements. There are 42 settlements completely evacuated.
In a speech this Wednesday, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah warned that they will continue attacks against the Zionist entity. He affirmed that his mujahideen (fighters) are not afraid of a possible escalation of the conflict and if this happens, they have the morale, human forces and weapons to defend their land, their people and the sovereignty of Lebanon.
