Tehran, July 6 (RHC)-- The vote count of the Iranian elections showed Masoud Pezeshkian as the winner of the contest with 16,384,403 votes, beating his contender Saeed Jalili with 13,538,179.
According to local sources, the news was given by the spokesman of the electoral committee Mohsen Eslami. A total of 30,530,157 votes were counted.
The latest election update showed Pezeshkian’s clear advantage over his rival Jalili.
It should be noted that in all the updates made by the Iranian electoral authorities Pezeshkian always showed preference among voters.
The elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian was a judge and later Minister of Health of the Persian country.
