United Nations, September 30 (RHC)-- The Foreign Minister of Nicaragua, Valdrack Jaentschke, participated in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Monday.
From the podium, the diplomat expressed the concern shared by Nicaragua, that despite the knowledge of "abuses, aberrations and aggressions of the powers and the unjust world order," the countries of the world do not find "common answers to the weaknesses and pains of our societies."
Jaentschke pointed out "the catastrophes of injustice, the pretense of supremacy, the perverse appetites of domination, submission and barbarism, as in the most terrible times of what they called colonization or conquests, seem to worsen the slavery of humanity."
However, he projected: "The old world designed by the conquerors will be frustrated. They will be sad and alone, with the condemnation and repudiation of those who have learned to revere love."
“The power of all for the good of all. We lose our souls every day, not because we sell them to the devil, but because our generations do not learn from the millions of people sacrificed throughout history,” reflected the head of Nicaraguan diplomacy.
“We cannot remain silent and will not remain silent. We denounce and condemn the genocide that the government of Israel and its allies in the First World have committed, are committing and continue to commit against the glorious Palestinian people,” the Nicaraguan foreign minister said indignantly.
He also condemned the aggressions against Syria and Iran, as well as the interventionist actions carried out against Cuba, Bolivia, Venezuela and Nicaragua itself. At the same time, he denounced “the occupation and usurpation of the rights of peoples and countries like Haiti.”
"Only the union of the peoples of the planet will make the imperialists of the earth exist" said Jaentschke, who stated: "We are one with Chavez, Nicolas and his great people in all times, we are one with Cuba of Fidel, Raul and Miguel together with their dignified and formidable resistance. We are one with Bolivia and its respectable paths. We are one with Honduras and its challenges. We are one with all Mesoamerica and the challenges we face," said the foreign minister of Nicaragua.
And he emphasized: "We are one with all the fighters and warriors of the world and with the strength of firmness and dignity. Today more awake than ever, we raise our flags with pride and joy."
The Nicaraguan diplomatic representative indicated to the colonial powers that the peoples despite being subordinated by power, are rich in culture, resources and community models and values.
"We defend our supreme dreams with Bolívar, Martí, Sandino, Morazán and so many great beings who preceded us and anticipated the duty to fight, to fight, to fight, to win, win and win," said Jaentschke.
"No one can take away from us the certainty of a new world. No one can take away from us the reality of a fraternal world of understanding, solidarity and respectful cooperation."
