Beirut, October 1 (RHC)-- Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement has carried out fresh retaliatory attacks on the Israeli regime’s military positions and settlements in northern occupied Palestinian territories.

“In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance, on Tuesday 1-10-2024, targeted a force of ‘Israeli’ enemy soldiers at the gate to the ‘Shtula’ settlement with artillery shells, achieving direct hits,” Hezbollah said in a statement issued on Tuesday morning.

Hezbollah also fired a barrage of Fadi-2 missiles toward the regime’s military base of “Naqoura,” the resistant movement announced, as the regime pressed ahead with its brutal aggression against Lebanon.

In a statement released on Monday evening, Hezbollah said it had attacked Israel using a “Nour Missile,” which sources familiar with Hezbollah say is a ballistic missile.

The missile hit the village of Kafr Giladi in the northern part of the occupied territories, the statement said, adding that it had fired it in response to “Israeli violations of cities, villages, and civilians.”

Several other Israeli settlements were also targeted by the movement's rocket attacks, while the occupied city of Safed was struck again by a barrage of rockets.  Hezbollah also struck a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the “Zaoura” artillery position with rockets.

The movement said the attacks were in response to brutal Israeli violations against Lebanese towns, villages and civilians.  It added that the retaliatory operations were also carried out in support of Palestinians in Gaza and their resistance.

A number of Israeli settlements came under Hezbollah's rocket attacks as well, while the occupied city of Safed was hit with a barrage of rockets.  The movement said the attacks were in response to brutal Israeli violations against Lebanese towns, villages and civilians.   It added that the retaliatory operations were also carried out in support of Palestinians in Gaza and their resistance.

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who led the resistance movement for over three decades, was himself martyred after Israeli regime forces bombarded a Beirut suburb using U.S.-made jet fighters and bunker-buster bombs.
