Israel targets civilian vehicles and shells southern Lebanon
Havana, 30 October (RHC) Israel today targeted civilian vehicles and bombed several towns in southern Lebanon, continuing its aggression against the Levantine nation.
An Israeli drone fired at a passenger transport on the road linking the town of al-Kahala to Aaria in the Mount Lebanon province, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.
Another missile fired from a drone targeted a car on the Bshamon road, also in the same province, but no casualties were reported.
In the south of the country, the Israeli air force carried out bombing raids in the Khiam area and intensified artillery attacks on the Sadanah and Shebaa hills.
The Tel Aviv air force carried out a series of raids on the Ansar locality in the Nabatiyeh district, affecting the Khardali riverbed and the Barghoz area.
Before noon, the Israeli aggression also targeted areas in Qlaye field, between Khiam, Ibl al-Saqi, the Kings Tower and Saaf al-Batik.
In the village of Sarafand, efforts to clear the rubble and search for three missing people continue after a building was destroyed last night.
According to the Emergency Operations Centre at the Ministry of Health, an initial assessment of the air strike in Sarafand, near Saida, has killed eight people and injured 21.
The health service said that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has exceeded 2,792 dead, including 160 children, and 12,772 injured since it began more than a year ago (source: Prensa Latina)
