December 29: Axis of Resistance operations against Israeli occupation

Amid the West-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 45,500 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Sunday, December 29, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Dec. 29:

Targeted an Israeli military Merkava tank with a highly explosive device. Immediately after the rescue force arrived, it was targeted again with a Yassin 105 shell east of Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Dec. 29:

Blew up a house where a number of Israeli soldiers were holed up in the Al-Sikka area east of Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip, in a joint operation with the Al-Aqsa Brigades. 

Targeted and destroyed an Israeli military Merkava by detonating a ‘Thaqib’ explosive device planted in advance on Al-Sikka Street, west of Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip. 

Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces and lured them into a house - which has been booby-trapped - on Al-Wad Street, west of Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip. 

Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with mortar fire in the vicinity of Al-Attar Mosque, southwest of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip. 

Seized a reconnaissance plane while it was carrying out intelligence missions in southwest of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip.
