Islamabad, April 11 (RHC) – Gunmen have attacked a dam site in Pakistan's south-western Baluchistan province, killing at least 20 workers and wounding three.
A large group of gunmen attacked a work camp near the construction site in the Gobdan area of district Turbat, overpowered eight security guards and shot sleeping laborers before fleeing, Makran division commissioner Pasand Khan Buledi said .
Baluchistan is the scene of a low-intensity violence by nationalist and separatist Baluch groups who want a substantial share of revenue from gas and mineral resources and complete autonomy from Islamabad.
