Athens, July 7, (RHC), – The finance ministers of eurozone countries gathered in Brussels on Tuesday seeking to fix the Greek debt crisis after Greeks voted "no" to creditors' bailout offer in a referendum on Sunday.

At the meeting, Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, is expected to present new proposals to EU lenders, seeking a viable solution on better terms for the Greek people.

European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker told MEPs in Strasbourg that a Greek exit form the eurozone should be avoided.

The euro currency two major powers, France and Germany made clear on Monday that the door was still open for an agreement to save Greece from financial collapse and a euro exit.

Without an agreement with lenders officials and analysts in Greece and abroad see a catastrophic financial meltdown that could lead to the country's exit from the European common currency zone.
