Havana, October 3 (RHC)-- Peace negotiations between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People's Army (FARC-EP) continue in Havana, focused on implementing the agreement on special jurisdiction for peace as soon as possible.
A press communique issued Friday by FARC representative Iván Márquez, notes the support the recently signed agreement has received inside Colombia as well as abroad, with more than 280 organizations of victims of the armed conflict and human rights groups voicing their support for the initiative.
The FARC representative called on Colombian authorities to publish the text of the accord, as a way to avoid speculation and distortions regarding its content.
