Havana, November 26 (RHC)-- The state commission in charge of organizing Fidel Castro's funeral has informed that Havana residents can go to pay homage to their late Revolution leader at the José Martí Memorial in the Revolution Square.

The commission said that the tribute will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28th, up until 10:00 p.m. that same day, and also on Tuesday, November 29th from 9:00 a.m. up until 12:00 noon.

Also on Monday and Tuesday, other places will be opened in every municipality across the country, where Cubans can pay homage to Fidel and sign a solemn oath in which they promise to be faithful to his revolutionary ideas, specifically Fidel's concept of Revolution.

The commission further said that at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29th, there will be a mass rally at Havana's Revolution Square.

The next day, on Wednesday, November 30th, a caravan will be launched, to take Fidel's ashes all the way from Havana to Santiago de Cuba, where it will arrive on December 3rd. It will be a reenactment of the Freedom Caravan of late leader Fidel and the rebel army, staged back in January 1959.

On that same day, December 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. Santiago residents will participate in a mass rally at the “Antonio Maceo” Revolution Square there.

Likewise, the military parade and public rally, scheduled for December 2nd, on occasion of the 60th anniversary of the landing of the Granma yacht and the Day of Cuba's Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), has been postponed until January 2nd, 2017.
