Baku, January 12 (RHC)-- The Baku Museum of Miniature Books is paying tribute to Cuban revolution leader, the late Fidel Castro, with an exhibit of books on Fidel's life and work.

The only museum of miniature books in the world, the cultural center is situated in the old part of Baku, called Inner City.

The exhibit dedicated to the late Cuban revolutionary leader includes a biography of Fidel and his self-defense statement 'History Will Absolve Me,' which Fidel delivered at the trial for his participation in the 1953 revolutionary attacks against the Moncada barracks in Santiago de Cuba.

In the homage paying ceremony, Museum Director Zarifa Salahova described Fidel as a leader of not only Cuba but all of Latin America, and said his legacy will be followed by revolutionaries all over the world.

Exhibits in the museum were collected by Director Zarifa Salahova over a period of 30 years. It consists of more than 6500 books from 70 different countries. The museum was opened to public viewing in April, 2002, with the hope of promoting childhood literacy.
