Lisbon, April 20 (RHC-PL)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez has called on the international community to avoid any interference in Venezuela's internal affairs.

In a joint appearance with his Portuguese counterpart, Augusto Santos, in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, Rodríguez emphasized the fraternal relationship that unites Cuba with the Venezuelan people.

The Cuban foreign minister expressed his confidence that the Venezuelan institutions would respect the Constitution and called for respect of the country's sovereignty.

The top Cuban diplomat also called on the international community to speak out in favor of social peace and dialogue in that South American nation.
