Havana, Feb. 15 (RHC)-- Cuba and Syria signed a cooperation agreement that provides for strengthened cooperation in the field of higher education.
The accord facilitates academic exchanges and the sharing of experiences, particularly regarding the teaching of medicine and pharmaceutical sciences.
It was signed by Cuba's Higher Education Minister José Ramón Saborit and his Syrian counterpart Atef Naddaf, in the framework of the 11th Conference on Higher Education, underway in Havana until Friday with the participation of 2 500 Cuban and foreign experts.
