Havana, February 6 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel received in Havana the head of Mozambique's Parliament, Veronica Nataniel Macamo, according to official sources.
Macamo -- invited to the island by the National Assembly of People's Power -- stressed the importance of her visit and expressed her solidarity with those affected by the recent tornado that hit several Havana municipalities.
She conveyed the greetings of the President of Mozambique, Filipe Nyussi, and highlighted the strong political ties and solidarity between the two countries.
Meanwhile Diaz-Canel thanked the African official for her country's support in the fight against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than half a century.
