Havana, March 11 (RHC) – Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel, is meeting March 11th and 12th, with municipal officials to analyze the work of local government.
Díaz-Canel wrote on his Twitter account: "We are going to exchange in working sessions with the Presidents of all Municipal Administration Councils about priorities for local government.”
According to the Cuban head of state, each territory will draw up a work strategy for municipal self-sufficiency, focused on financial self-sustainability.
He also noted that discussions will focus on the development of local projects, especially those related to food production and work toward achieving the objectives of the national economic plan and social priorities.
