Havana, July 25 (RHC)-- The United States will add this Friday two hotels and an equal number of publishing houses to the list of more than 200 Cuban entities and sub-entities banned for Americans, said the Federal Register.

The governmental journal of record reported on its website that the State Department will officially publish on Friday the new additions to the list unilaterally drawn up by the Donald Trump Administration as part of its growing hostility towards Cuba.

Hotel Palacio Cueto, located in the Historic Center of Old Havana, and Cayo Guillermo Resort Kempinski, in the destination Jardines del Rey, in the north of Ciego de Ávila province, are the hotel facilities added to the controversial listing.

Also included are Casa Verde Olivo, a publishing company belonging to the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, and Editorial Capitán San Luis, attached to the Ministry of the Interior.

The date on which the sub entities will be added to the list coincides with the celebration in Cuba of the 66th anniversary of National Rebellion Day,

This event, observed every 26 of July, recalls the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, in the eastern Caribbean country, in 1953, under the leadership of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.
