Caracas, October 19 (RHC)-- Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza rejected Washington's new measures against Cuba, related to the purchase of products with U.S. components and the leasing of aircraft and boats.
Arreaza asserted on a post on Twitter that the recent unilateral and arbitrary actions of economic terrorism are a definite symptom of frustration and despair of the supremacist elite that governs in the United States.
The new rule changes the licensing policy to deny aircraft leases to Cuban state-owned airlines and clarifies that aircraft and vessels are not eligible for a license exception if they are leased or chartered by a Cuban national.
The actions prohibit the re-export to Cuba of foreign goods containing more than 10 percent U.S. components.
