Havana, October 29, (RHC)—Radio Havana Cuba's English language service will air an hour-long special program on Tuesday, October 29, at 15:00 hours local time.
The program will focus on the effects of the U.S. blockade on Cuba and the recent measures to reinforce it adopted by the Trump Administration.
The broadcast will be aired live from the "Raul Roa" Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI) in Havana.
Special guests include Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, Director General for U.S. Affairs at the Island's Foreign Ministry.
Cuban National heroes and former Cuban Five Gerardo Hernandez, Vice Dean of ISRI; Fernando Gonzalez, president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People's (ICAP); and Ramon Labañino, vice president of the Cuban National Association of Economists and Accountants (ANEC) will be on hand.
Cuban renowned intellectual Ricardo Alarcon will also participate.
The special broadcast airs a few days from the vote at the U.N. General Assembly of a Cuba-sponsored resolution on the necessity of the scraping of the U.S. blockade on the island.
Radio Havana Cuba's signal will be available on its regular shortwave frequencies, on its local F.M. frequency. It will be streamed through the station's website.
