Artemisa, January 31 (RHC)-- The province of Artemisa is gaining in organization and creating a more coherent and comprehensive work system, the president of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, said at the closing of the second government visit to the western territory.
At the meeting to wrap-up the Council of Ministers' tour, it was disclosed that of the 21 indications of the previous visit in October of 2018, 13 were fulfilled.
The recently elected Governor of Artemisa, Ricardo Concepción Rodríguez, pointed out that different Cuban ministries are attending 8 indications from the previous governmental tour.
"The young province's inhabitants, who showed themselves to be friendly to the presidential entourage, are contributing to their province identity, to the development of the territory, and the country's economy," Díaz-Canel said.
Menawhile, Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa urged Artemisa residents to increase agricultural yields, diversify production and produce sugar efficiently.
